The board of EAPA-SA and Leadership magazine (South Africa’s top, award-winning business magazine) have partnered up in an exciting media collaboration. Leaders in Wellness (a publication aimed at corporate wellness) had previously been published by Cape Media as a standalone quarterly publication. However, considering the need from corporate organisations for regular wellness updates, this magazine is now being published as an insert within the pages of Leadership magazine.
This new Leaders in Wellness section in Leadership magazine is endorsed by EAPA-SA, and includes monthy contributions from the Association. EAPA-SA is the official voice of EA Practice in SA - setting standards for practice, governing practitioners and service providers in the industry, advocating with stakeholders on issues affecting members, client organisations and service providers.
“EAPA-SA is an association that exists to support EAP practitioners/ professionals and ensures a level of standards and ethics within the field. It strives to grow and develop EAP, HR and related people professionally,” said Radhi Vandayar (Strategic Learning & Development Manager at ICAS and EAPA-SA Board Member, Marketing Portfolio). “We are excited to endorse the Leaders in Wellness section in Leadership magazine as it is an exciting opportunity to partner with a key voice in the leadership space. Leadership is a stakeholder that EAPA-SA rarely reaches and this partnership allows the knowledge to reach vital stakeholders.”
“It’s a tremendous coup for Leadership magazine to enjoy the editorial support and knowledge sharing that EAPA-SA has offered us. This adds tremendous weight to the content of Leadership magazine and our new Leaders in Wellness section,” said Leadership editor, Simon Lewis.
“EAPA-SA is about creating and maintaining excellence in Employee Wellness Practice,” said Thiloshni Govender (Director, Employee Wellness at Department of Health Eastern Cape and EAPA-SA Board Member, President Elect). “It is about bringing together practitioners, service providers, specialists and other stakeholders to promote the highest levels of EA practice. It's about providing a platform for teaching, coaching and mentoring, networking and generating innovations in practice so that we provide the highest level of service and value to our clients.
“The industry and the Board has evolved together as a result of such collaborations and we are excited to see these initiatives help to spread the message on Wellness through this Leadership platform,” added Govender.
The magazine is distributed to leaders and key stakeholders throughout South Africa, and is on sale at selected newsagents. In addition, it can be read digitally or downloaded on www.leadershiponline.co.za
